Situated Models for Dissemination of Information Literacy

Abstract

 

This article deals with the role of information literacy for evolution of information society. It describes some of well-known situated models for dissemination of information literacy: Kuhltau’s model of the stages of the information process; Eisenberg’s and Berkowitz’s  “TheBig6”; Homann’s dynamic model and Schultka’s library pedagogy. The article reflects the Bulgarian experience in University Library “St. Kliment Ohridski” for teaching of library information knowledge.
