The Education in Physics in the Universities and their Relation to Innovations

In the present paper we consider the external and internal factors that determine the condition of education in Physics as well as in Natural and Engineering Sciences and their relation to innovations. The global and European data on the competitiveness and innovation for Bulgaria is presented. Special attention is paid to the vicious circle of the educational absurdity, which is an obstacle for Physics and applied sciences to transform Bulgarian economy into an innovative one.
